Our take
I've been using the Odyssey G5 for a few weeks, and it's a fantastic gaming monitor for the price. The QHD resolution at 27 inches is sharp, and the 165Hz refresh rate makes fast-paced games feel incredibly smooth. The 1ms response time eliminates ghosting, and the curved screen adds immersion without being too aggressive. Colors are vibrant after calibration, though the IPS glow is present in dark scenes. FreeSync works well with my AMD GPU. My only complaint is the stand, which is a bit wobbly and lacks height adjustment. Despite that, for $180, this is a steal for competitive and immersive gaming.
